Since inception, one of Ciudad Refugio’s primary focuses has been to offer emergency humanitarian aid to vulnerable individuals and communities. In partnership with local and international donors, we offer short-term emergency shelter, childrens’ feeding and grocery box delivery programs.
In early 2020, Colombia along with the rest of the world, found itself thrust into the COVID 19 pandemic. As a response to the health crisis, fear, and resulting economic collapse, Ciudad Refugio movilized efforts to offer food, emergency housing and spiritual care to Colombians and Venezuelans facing extreme hunger due to the consequences of CoronaVirus.
