Each year, Ciudad Refugio receives more than 100 individuals who come to serve in the foundation looking to use their gifts and talents to serve others. We have a variety of short and long term positions available

Team volunteers

Ciudad Refugio receives groups of volunteers from all over the world serving on evangelistic teams, children´s ministry groups, youth groups, medical missions and construction teams.  These teams add value and support to our ongoing projects and programs while gaining cross-cultural experience and Spanish language exposure.  Will your group be next?

Business

We partner with local and international businesses who provide us a variety of consulting services and skills development workshops to individuals in our programs.  These partnerships are designed to increase employability of the men and women in our programs while providing quality production services to local businesses.

Professional practicum

We provide an excellent hands-on, controlled environment for those looking for practical experience working with at-risk populations. Professional practicums are available for those studying in the fields of counseling, psychology, teaching, social work, theology and more.

Ministerial practicum

Do you feel a call to ministry? Ciudad Refugio offers informal and formal internships for church or parachurch ministry recommended individuals interested in learning, experimenting and practicing their giftings in ministry and missions.  Come to Medellin and put your faith into practice.
